This year I've gone a little bit mad for the idea of monogramming -- signet rings, handkerchiefs,
backpack satchels (sweet fancy Moses, I've been thinking about that pack
all year and I can still taste it on the tip of my tongue), etc. I haven't yet reached the
Sex and the City nameplate phase, but I just discovered
this website which offers names and initals formed out of wire and shaped into necklaces, bracelets, etc. I really want my three initials on a stickpin (above)! To put on coats! And seriously, it's only like $20.

They can also do phrases, but only up to 20 letters. I very badly wanted to have my all-time favorite motto, from
Rocky Horror Picture Show, emblazoned in gold-filled wire:
"It's not easy having a good time."
But it's too long! Truly, it's not easy finding a life motto that will fit onto an item of novelty jewelry. Please leave your suggestions for phrases to live one's life by, under 20 character's excluding spaces, in the comments section.
